Feeling Posters are a staple in every counseling office.  They are extremely adaptable and can be used in a variety of ways.

  • Developing vocabulary
  • Identifying facial expressions
  • Conversation starters
  • “Check-In”
  • Increasing self-awareness
  • Increasing awareness of others

I also used feelings posters as journal prompts when I taught students with emotional impairments…they really are pretty versatile.

If you are wondering how you can get a set of feelings posters to use with your students or children just follow the steps below.

Step 1: Head on over to The Helpful Counselor on Facebook and click “Like” and then click the star in the upper right-hand corner (where it says Fan Freebie) to download the Feelings Mini Poster..

Step 2: Swing on over to my Teachers Pay Teachers store to pick up the coordinating How Are You Feeling coloring page. Be sure to follow my store to receive updates on new items, sales, and future freebies. 🙂

I hope you (and your students) enjoy the mini poster set! Follow me on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and Pintrest for more resources and helpful articles.
